.In fact, I think we all should. Get it out there, spread the image, whatever, so everyone can see how the media is color coding this disaster.

Look at how they describe what they are doing
P.S., it's not behind a cut because I think everyone needs to see this, and not scroll past it like it's nothing, because this is some fucked up SHIT!

Comments
Now please explain to me what this picture has to do with survival:
It's just opportunism at it's finest.
Kthx.
Whatever you say, keep defending it, you're really helping the cause!
I am "helping the cause", because I'm pointing out that your comments negatively depict what's going on in NOLA without much scientific or historical proof that you're right.
Of course, it's also entirely plausible that he just wants to get drunk. It's not like you're under some sort of obligation to defend his actions, any more than the original poster would be if you showed him a picture of the Unabomber or Eric Rudolph and demanded that he "explain this". The original thesis was never, as far as I can tell, "no black people are looting; rather, everyone in New Orleans is acting in a rational and pragmatic way to preserve their lives and the lives of their loved ones". Is anyone claiming that?
you're a tool.
besides which, you can bet if my ass had just lost everything i owned, i'd be getting shitfaced as possible with the rest of em.
Amen.
Makes sense! Good to see you're as pathetic and hopeless as the rest of the mob.
pathetic and hopeless? try again. fuck off.
Uhh in case you haven't realized, NEW ORLEANS IS COMPLETELY FLOODED! What the fuck, he HAS to wade throught it. He's not Moses, it's not like he can part it or anything. Dumbass
Do you not see the racism in this comment?
Their overcoming of these adverse conditions to survive is just admirable.
